The National VOICE meeting at the 2012 SAVMA Symposium will be taking place
Saturday, March 17th at 3pm, immediately following the Diversity Forum in
Stewart 214. Please note this change.

What Is
VOICE? |

VOICE is a student run organization that addresses a need for socio-cultural awareness that is not part of the current core veterinary curriculum. Therefore, we feel that the veterinary colleges and the profession as a whole will embrace VOICE and partner with our organization to fill this gap in the curriculum.
We plan to be an organized and unified student voice contributing to
enhancing the diversity of the profession and the cultural competence of
veterinary students. We plan to work with the AVMA, SAVMA, and AAVMC in
diversity issues as they relate to the veterinary profession.
